Puppy & Adult Dog Group Classes
Classes take place at the Kelowna SPCA in the Humane Education Building:
3785 Casorso Rd, Kelowna, BC
- Puppy Classes: Wednesdays at 5:15pm OR Sundays* at 10:30am
- Fun & Foundations: Wednesdays at 6:30pm OR Sundays* at 11:45am
The last Sunday group intake was March 30th. Weekend classes will resume starting Sunday, September 14th. If Wednesday evenings don't work for you, I also offer an Everyday Manners Private Lessons package (one-on-one training in your home).
SIGN UP FOR PUPPY CLASSES
PUPPY CLASS - EVERYDAY MANNERS (5X 1-HOUR CLASSES) STARTING JUNE 4
Classes are fun, positive reinforcement training and will include play & socialization! Your pup will also learn:
- name recognition, attention and focus
- the basics for real life (sit, down, stay etc. with distractions)
- recall (verbal & visual)
- polite walking (loose-leash walking)
- leave it (great for self-control)
- drop it
- wait (self-control, safety)
- settling, reinforcing calm & relaxation to promote healthy rest & resilience
- "touch!" and some fun tricks that can also be used for grooming, vet care and building confidence around new objects and people
5 x 1-hour weekly sessions:
June 4, 11, 18, 25 & July 2
