Puppy & Adult Dog Group Classes
Classes take place at the Kelowna SPCA (3785 Casorso Rd) in their Humane Education Building. Please scroll down for start dates and class information.
I also offer an Everyday Manners Private Lessons package (one-on-one training in your home with flexible scheduling ) if that works better for your training goals and lifestyle.
SIGN UP FOR PUPPY CLASSES
PUPPY CLASS - EVERYDAY MANNERS (5X 1-HOUR CLASSES) STARTING OCTOBER 26 *WEEKEND CLASS*
Classes are fun, positive reinforcement training and will include play & socialization! Your pup will also learn:
- name recognition, attention and focus
- the basics for real life (sit, down, stay etc. with distractions)
- recall (verbal & visual)
- polite walking (loose-leash walking)
- leave it (great for self-control)
- drop it
- wait (self-control, safety)
- settling, reinforcing calm & relaxation to promote healthy rest & resilience
- "touch!" and some fun tricks that can also be used for grooming, vet care and building confidence around new objects and people
*SUNDAY MORNING CLASS*
5 x 1-hour weekly sessions:
October 26 & November 2, 9 , 16, 23
Sundays at 10:30am
$195+ gst
PUPPY CLASSES WILL RESUME IN JANUARY...

SIGN UP FOR ADOLESCENT / ADULT CLASSES
FUN & FOUNDATIONS GROUP CLASS PACKAGE (6X 1-HOUR CLASSES) STARTING OCTOBER 26
Classes are fun, positive reinforcement training and will include safe play & socialization in addition to training & improving responses to essential foundation skills including recall, loose-leash walking, drop-it, leave-it, wait, settle, the basics with distractions (sit, down etc.) & more. These classes are for learners of all skills levels!
*SUNDAY MORNING CLASS*
6 x 1-hour weekly sessions:
Sundays at 11:45am
